Exporting inspection due dates to your calendar
_Last checked: 2026-08-21._
The inspections page lets you download due dates as an .ics file — a format every calendar app opens (Google, Outlook, Apple).
Before you start
You need at least one inspection with a due date entered — otherwise the file will be empty.
Step by step
- Open "Inspections" in the menu.
- Click the export button next to the page title.
- A file named
przeglady.icsdownloads. - Open it — most systems will ask which calendar to add the events to; confirm
your choice.
What you get — and what you don't
Each inspection becomes a separate, all-day event (no specific time — the database doesn't store one) with the building name and inspection type.
This is a snapshot, not a subscription. The file reflects the state at the moment you downloaded it. If you add a new inspection or change an existing due date, your calendar will not find out automatically — you need to download the file again and re-import it. Re-importing the same inspection updates its event instead of duplicating it, so repeating the export is safe.
Common mistakes
- Calendar shows outdated due dates — the file doesn't sync itself.
Download it again after any significant change to your inspections.
- No issue description in the event — that's intentional. The file never
carries inspection notes, since they may contain a resident's personal data.
